What Jink’s sins in life were are unknown. She died along with her unborn son as the result of a botched abortion, which by her own admission was not her choice. There is also some indication that Jink knew Drip in life beyond just being one of his victims.
In Death
When Jink went to Hell she became one of Drip's charges imprisoned in a cave fused to a wall. Even in death Jink loves Fnar dearly, his visits are one of the few highpoints in hell. Realizing the harm that Fnar's father could cause him, Jink makes a considered effort to make sure he never finds out about Fnar. Even if sometimes that means she has to be harsh with him.
Though her devotion to her son Jink has come to realize her sins and wrong doings and admit what she did in life was wrong. Now feed from the wall, and from Drip; she is the much needed surrogate mother too Molly’s ill fated Daughters.
