I've decided to do every other week for updates it seems to work a lot better with my schedule, and makes the updating process go a lot easier. (No this is not merely to accommodate my War Craft obsession how could you even think of such a thing!)
Once again I have new Fanart for you. Daybreak and Feral have both submitted lovely pieces and not to be out done Capitolz has submitted 4 new pictures.
Final Gamer has added a new part to "Desire Shatters the Mind" and has submitted a new Fanfic entitled "Jack and Drip".
I just want to point out a few links that have been added to the Links section. There is now a Jack Club on deviantART. So all you Jack fans out there with fan art on DA should check it out. I've also posted the address for the Jack irc chat (which I have nothing to do with) for all thouse who have irc.
Last update I promised Id get some of the things I promised Id to have done, done. Well I present to you the Community section. Right now there is Fan Comics, Essays, Quizzes, and a Chat. But I do plan to be adding more and I have updated the Poll (What would you like to see added/more of on this site?) accordingly. I want to thank all the people who have submitted stuff for those sections and have waited patiently for me to get them done. I told you it'd get done eventualy.

So I suppose you're probably wondering why the hell I haven't been updating this site. Well I could lie and say a relative died or some thing but the truth is far more hedonistic. To make a long story short Worlds of War Craft has consumed my life, and well nothing was getting done because of it. Thursday I had and intervention of sorts. When the dishes start to smell funny cus they've been piled up in the sink for to long it's high time you need to do something about it. So I promise this won't happen again......... well maybe not ever again........ well if I reach level 40 and I don't have enough gold to buy a mount it might happen again but that'll be the only exception. Honest.
Well to make up for the wait Ive got a ton of new artwork for you: Andy Hopkin, Dion Turner, Dyrim Noctem, Skurvy, Victor, and Web Virus all have submitted some really wonderful pices of Fanart.
Final Gamer has sumbimited his on going epic "Desire Shatters the Mind" to the Fanfiction section.
The Character Guides and Story Guides have been updated in acordance with the new comics.
Ok so I know I promised Id have a few things finished that are not done for this update but Worlds of War Craft and Being away from the computer for a portion of the holidays kind of derailed some of those plans. But next week I should have more time to work on this site, so hopefully I can get a lot of this stuff done. Its getting to be a bit more time consuming then I had originally expected. But fear not these things will get done EVENTUALY.

First off some minor changes. The Fanfics now open in a new window so that they are easier to read. I have also added a Link to Blue Rat Games' Jack RPG. Its a Jack computer game being made by fans that has been in the works for awhile now. You should check out the site. (Especially since they were kind enough to link to Brimstone). And some broken links in the Story and Arc Guide have been fixted (and updated).
Brazen Kitty was kind enough to seen me some lovely Fanart that you should all check out, and Simmergloom has once again submitted another piece of kicking Fanart.
Highwing has graced the Fanfic page with his fic Sins of the Father so make sure you check that out.
I know several people have asked about writing bios and I was going to have it all set up for people to start submitting this week but unfortunately I ended up having to stay late at work a couple nights in a row and I'm afraid I didn't get around to writing all the bios I wanted to get done. So I promise I'll open things up next week. In the mean time feel free to enjoy Envy, Fnar, Jink, and Skye's bios.
Lastly I would like to mention something I've been working on since I started Brimstone. I would like to add a Community section for fan works that don't fall under the Fanart or Fanfiction categories, contests, and probably a chat. I know that the chat hasn't exactly gotten high rating on the Polls but I think this site could support a good one and well.........I want a chat (so there). Any way about the ambiguously worded fan works that dont fall under the Fanart or Fanfiction categories part. What I mean by that is Fan Comics, Essays, and Reworded Jack panels/pages. So if you have anything that fits into one of those categories feel free to submit it to me. Some of you already have (thank you btw) and rest assured that once I get the Community section up (hopefully by the end of the month) they will be displayed for the entire world to see.

First off let me apologies for the long wait I’ve been kind of busy and my new web host has been kind of slow getting back to me. But now that this site is up it’s not going any were. For those who are wondering, Brimstone went down and eventually had to move because I was far exceeding my monthly bandwidth limit. Subsequently I needed to find a new web host that could deal with the kind of traffic this site seems to attract and be affordable. I know of some sites that use this web host and they have all been fast loading reliable sites so I know this new web host will serve me well (and was a good deal). You’ll also note that this site now has its very own domain name. I decided if I was going to spring for paid hosting I might as well go all out with the domain name as well.
Judging from resent guest book entries there seems to be some confusion about who runs this site. Mr. Hopkins does not run this site. I do. I originally made it as a fan site but he liked it so much it was decided that brimstone should become the Official Jack Reference Site. Mr. Hopkins is not directly involved in the maintenance and upkeep of this site (mostly because he just doesn’t have time to do so). I hope that clears up some confusion.
Well I bet you are all wondering about those updates, and I shall not disappoint. There is some Fanart by Karaden, Katya, and Dreyfuss. As well as new pieces by Shimmergloom and myself (Kimera).
There is also a new Fanfic up for all to read by Darkwing Dork entitled In Service.
Lastly I’d like to thank all the people who submitted stuff to me despite the site being down as well as those who e-mailed me showing concern that my site was down. I’m sure all of you are happy to find Brimstone up and running again.

First off let me say something about the Polls, more specifically the site polls. They were made so I know what you guys want from this site. Brimstone isn’t just for me it’s for all Jack fans and if the majority of Jack fans want say, a chat room then god damn it I’ll give you a chat room. (Fanfiction and fanart aren’t included because I will be updating these regardless.) The screen resolution poll is important because once your resolution gets above 1125x864 I realize that the font gets small and kind of hard to read. If the majority of you have that screen resolution I will make adjustments accordingly. These polls help me make sure I’m making the best Jack fan site possible. So please vote.
Also it has come to my attention that some of you feel that the submission guidelines for Fanfiction are unfair, because the requirement is that you have a character from Jack appear in them. With that in mind I changed the guidelines so that a fic must take place in the Jack universe, but doesn’t necessarily need to have a character from the Jack comic in it. I hope this change fixes the problem.
Now about those updates. Again we have lots of wonderful Fanart for you there are works by: Jenkesh, MrTosser, Vorsh as well as a new picture by Paul L Escobar. So check them out.
According to the Polls you guys want Character bios and so I give you, Greed, and Gluttony’s bios which can be found in the Characters section.
You remember the Comics I posted in the last update? Well apparently there were 2 more comics in the “Who am I” story (Drip’s Beginnings) that I did not have. But Big Nemo was kind enough to provide me with the last two pages. They are now posted for your viewing pleasure.
Just for future reference I plan to update this site every Friday. If something comes up and I can’t I’ll let you guys know. If you don’t hear from me you can assume that my internet has died again (which is why this update is a little bit late). That having been said, next Friday’s update will be late (it’ll probably happen on Sunday) because I’m going home for Thanksgiving. But feel free to still e-mail me and submit stuff to the site. My parents do have internet (crappy internet but still internet) so I will be able to reply to your e-mails.

Update time again. Lots of Fanart this time around, I have works from: Jaygryph, Littletiger488, Paul L Escobar, Prof BH and Tracken. I’d like to thank them all for letting me post their work. If you would like to submit some fanart to me the guidelines are on the Fanart page.
According to the Polls there are now four of you would like “More insights/explanations about things in Jack” (and one person that would like character bios and Farrago appears to be the favorite angel). So to accommodate those of you would like more insight I have posted some Comics in the Information section that Mr. Hopkins’ has drawn that do not appear in the Jack archives. Many of you may have already seen these comics but now they are easier to find. Also we now know definitively what is and is not “Jack cannon” from Mr. Hopkins’ galleries (because I asked him). Again I thank all the people who have submitted their works to this site and have signed the guest book it is still very much appreciated.

Well it’s time for some updates. I have two wonderful fan works that have been submitted to my site. The first being Manawolf’s Purpose in Hell which can be found in the Fanfiction section. The second being a lovely picture of Fnar by Ville Pirttimäki that can be found in the Fanart section. As per several people’s request the links on the Links page will now open in a new window. I’ve added a link to Hopkins’ VCL gallery (thanks Ville Pirttimäki for finding me the link) as well as some linking banners in case anyone feels like linking to this site. According to the polls the majority of you want “More insights/explanations about things in Jack” (well at lest two of you did) so with that in mind I’ve written… well I guess you would call it an essay concerning humans in the Jack universe. With the first update there can be either a lot or not much to say. Me personaly I don't consider my self a particulary talkitve person. What I will say is thanks for visiting my site, and I hope you like it. If you have any questions, coments, corrections, or problems please e-mail me I would really like to know. Also I would like to ask all of you who have Fan Fiction, Fan Art or anything that you would like to submit to the site to please do so I would love to post your stuff.
